Pain. Does anyone have pain.....due to P... - Cure Parkinson's
Pain. Does anyone have pain.....due to PD? If so, what kind and where? What meds help?
Hi Maria, I think the majority of "Parkies" have pain of some sort. Mostly on an "off" time. I have mine mostly in the morning - low back pain, muscle aches etc especially right side from shaking. Advice, take your Parkie medicine on time, continue with exercise, very important.
hi maria .
ave you lookd in the questions as i had avery good response to a similar question in april the 20th i think ?
I have shoulder and neck pain and have also started to have leg and foot cramps from time to time. I take Gabapentin for the pain and it works well. I am trying to drink LOTS more water to help with the cramps too.
I started with tendonitis and a frozen left foot. When I'm off the pain becomes horrific. Plus it grabs onto any OTHER pain I might be having (bursitis, trapped gas, torn rotator cuff, it doesn't discriminate). I take meds, even if not 'time' for it, eat a snack, maybe Advil, maybe Xanax, walk, stretch, nap.
Yes! imagine wearing a 8-10 inch wide belt around your waist with arrow sticking in you at varying degrees of intensity, early on it would feel so strong like my appendix were bursting, and actually went to emergency a couple times. No one has ever been able to tell me exactly what it could be except for just nerves gone haywire. One "renowned" neurologist told me it had nothing to do with Parkinsons or medication side effects, but I never had it before being diagnosed with PD or before taking Azilect, Sinemet, Requip or Mirapex. Does anyone else have these type of pain?
I hurt evrywhere, every day. when I'm having a bad time with my med's my neck hurts so bad I can't look rom side to side. my knees hurt as if they are going to give out on me if I walk, If I stand still like at the kitchen sink or bathroom sink to brush my teeth, I get a terrible pan in my back. My elbows hurt so bad in the morning I can hardly get out of bed. Nothing helps.
Will talk to Dr. About that. Thanks
