This is how I fight My Parkinsons
I don't fight my PD anymore, just learned how to live with it the best that I can.
I get annoyed & angry & come out fighting every time this bloody annoying condition is not going to beat me
Thanks Mark - i fight it with Tai Chi , meditation and running. Weird really how i stagger about the house but am training for my 12th marathon ! Keep fighting and never give in.........................i won't !!
keep running - I don't do marathons but I racewalk 5 and 10ks. My doc says its not totally unusual to be able to run/racewalk and not walk slowly.
thanks for this and keep fighting
It's hard to thank God when you can't walk without assistance, but I do everyday because I know the best is yet to come someday.
This is how I fight PD, ataxia, pheriphel neuropathy & previous cancer in the thyroid & removal of the thyroid. There are some people worse than me. Thank You, Lord for your daily blessings.

God is glorified in weakness. If He works through the earthly strong then the world cannot understand the magnitude of His power. When things look impossible and situations seem unavoidable, undesirable, and unbearable the glory and might of our dear Lord is shown. In our weakness His strength is proven.
The idea I want to express is that I am already healed my body just has not caught up to my soul. I am so thankful that God has seen fit to use my situation…. Not matter what it may be to bless hearts and lives for His glory.
I have a strong sense of family..if no one else understands it's them..they are dealing with the PD as well as me...we take one day at a time, I exercise 2 to 3 times a week..it is a low impact work out for seniors (I'm 51) but it helps with the stiffness and the pain...I garden....(watering)...my son pulls the weeds and digs the holes for the veggies..no only does it help with the food cost..I get HEALTHY veggies...I walk 2 to 3 times a week..good for the soul!!! I try to stay as active as my body will let me..if I don't move around I stiffen up bad..so exercise is my key to dealing with PD!!!!
I didn't mean that I'm letting PD take over. I exercise almost everyday, use my handweights, go to a senior, low impact class(since I was 53), and try to do everything that I can. I don't see that as fighting PD
, just trying to get along and live peacefully together
As much exxercise as you can do. makes me feel better.
