ode to a crow

there's this big black crow

that i've come to know

she perches high

within the sky.

but when she's low,

she takes it slow.

she will always comes back,

for she doesn't lack

for a single thing.

she cannot even really sing!

but this black bird

has got the word,

that tomorrrow is another day,

and just maybe

there will be another way.

Glad you liked it! Poe wrote "The Raven" and no doubt saw the black crow often! PD is THE BLACK CROW! ^ _ ^

Thanks! I am a singer, but I have so many allergies bugging me right now that my voice sounds like a crow! ;-) Crows, by the way are very intelligent birds, I heard..(another rhyme! hahaha!:))

Really enjoyed this. We all have a black crow which is sometimes more tiresome than others.
