I voted today. It was interesting to compare today's scrawl to my signature from four years previous.

Handwriting
I'm just beginning to see my handwriting "go down the tube".
As a former Elementary School teacher this is sad!
People who see my writing now say I should have been a doctor! Almost illegable.
I have always had bad handwriting but it is a bit more scrawly than usual! Fingers do not move so freely across the page...
my writing stared to go downthetubes when i was still working in 2007 - funny how i never knew it was a symptomthen

When I start writing, you can read the first word, but then it gets so tiny, you can't make it out. Only way to communicate is with computer and My typing seems to be getting worse.
don't write to much anymore...my hands cramp real bad
I too can no longer write past the first few letters especialy if someone (even me) is expected to read it. As far as my signature goes. My bank made a stamp for me to use in signing/endorsing checks. Works well and they have the signature on electronic file at the bank.
It was one of my first symptoms. I was still working and had to use the computer to write everything. I didn't know it was a sign of Parkinson's until my first neuro visit.
I dislike this symptom a lot!!!
I try to take notes or write a shopping list and even I cannot read them later. If I try to leave a handwritten note to my wife, it usually takes 3 or 4 tries before it is legible for her, and then it still requires several re-readings for her. This most certainly takes all of the fun out of leaving her a love note if she cannot read it!
I know I'm not alone with this but I find it really frustrating. When I look for info in the scientific papers I find a whol bunch about the "Micrographia" the official symptom lable that covers tiny handwriting but no terminology about sloppy, illegible hand writing as a whole.
Have any of you encountered an "official" name for this symptom?
