my car insurance is due for renewal soon I haven"t informed my insurer about my pd so far. am i obliged to disclose this info ?

Yes absolutely. If you do not they will refuse any claim. I did inform them and no probs and no extra to pay. I have motability motor now so it does not matter. It's the same old story - if you don't give them all the info then they will use that as an excuse to not pay out in an accident situation.

The answer to this is YES , informed my insurace co right away and my premiums have not been increased yet, what Drew said is true your insurase will be void if in an accident

yes you must otherwise you will invalidate your isurance. I did declare my PD. You must also inform DVLA or US equilivant. Made no difference. Cannot remember the company as I have motability car now and have had for some time.

I have had no trouble with insurers. They want that money!

But I have been stopped, by the police. My DBS causes slurred speech in mostly everyone if you don't have a skilled programmer. Some programmers do the trade off thing where if they can't get the speech right, but you can move, they'll leave you on that setting. As a result, you could get stopped. I have been stopped for weaving because I have no arm strength——it's back to the yoga mat for me. And it works. I feel the difference.
