Early detection and early intervention is definitely in order. Current medical practice is deficient in that they do not recognize the existence of disease modifying intervention.

I've read that we have commonly lost 80% of our dopamine making cells by the time we are diagnosed. An earlier diagnosis would give us more to work with.

I am participating in a similar study here in Sweden, to find bio markers in an early stage. There are 650 participants in this study and it is still expanding. It has been very interesting, I am right now waiting for a brain scan to be done this afternoon. Tonight was the polysomnography. I am promised to get access to almost all test results. The doctor running the study approved my use of N-acetyl-DL-leucine.
