Treating Parkinsons with Ultrasound - Cure Parkinson's
Treating Parkinsons with Ultrasound

Good find, thank you. Summary: Create a lesion in the brain; painless; works for both rigidity and pain; it can go wrong; great immediate impact; patient's tremor returned after a few weeks but milder; he may need another treatment.Overall, there is something in what they are doing - I would have that treatment today.
Thanks for posting. We just watched it, probably the first time we’ve seen most of the procedure televised. The Neuro surgeon seemed realistic about the outcomes that can be achieved as well as the problems that can arise. Tremor seems the most easily treated.
This is very common in Spain where I live and a very interesting alternative to DBS. The name here is HIFU ascires.com/neuro-hifu-vale... Valencia is leader in Spain and Europe. It works not only for tremors but also for stiffness.......Price 18 000 euros per side youtube.com/watch?v=FSJJ9Mb...
if anyone is interested I had the pleasure of interviewing Raul Martinez who appears in the BBC video. The full video of the interview is on our YouTube channel.

I had this treatment in 2020 in Switzerland. I have never had a tremor.
