I'm 70 year old man with ParkinsonsJust recently diagnosed but have had huge anxiety for years leading up to the diagnosis .

Does anyone have a place to purchase the actual product to make broccoli seed tea and how much should we drink daily ?

I'm really thinking it would help me .

Thanks

Thank you so much for the response.

Im new to this and I will see you on the zoom thursday.

Do the sprouts improve the non-motor symptoms the same or better than the Tea ?

I don't know if anything does anything. I do a lot of things and I feel pretty good. I have not been diagnosed with PD. I have REM Sleep Behavior Disorder and had some PD symptoms 3.5 years ago when I got my RBD diagnosis. Most of those symptoms are gone and my RBD is a lot better now.

To the broccoli sprouts: The sprouts and the tea are both trying to do the same thing: Get Sulforaphane into your body. Most people can absorb Sulforaphane from sprouts. The advantage of the tea is that your body gets the Sulforaphane even if you don't have the enzyme needed to convert Sulforaphane. I did not state that technically correct (I could but it would take awhile) but that's directionally accurate.

Bottom line is I think eating sprouts is equal to using the broccoli tea (and a heck of a lot easier). Some might disagree. I have a high school degree and no medical training.

I don't make broccoli tea, but I eat broccoli spouts every morning. Sprouting broccoli is cheap and easy. I have a lot of info on my blog: rbd-pd-protocols.blogspot.c...

Broccoli seed tea (BST) is something that you make and it’s slightly complicated and is not something you drink daily. You can go to resolveparkinsons.org for more information.

Please, don't do the anxiety. It reinforces braininflammation. Look at this way : this disease is a wake up call to choose what is best for you. See Dr Jockers website for very good info on PD + how to heal toxix brain. Food matters big time! Learn to fast! Learn to do the cold baths and the infrared detoxing sauna (Niacin detox group on Fb from Bret Bouer). Do the brocolli tea, indeed. But much more is needed : heal leaky gut and restore gut microbiome. Avoid all gluten (and glutenfree shitfood) and nonfermented dairy. Your brain needs omega 3, no seed oils, astaxanthine, magnesium, glucine, ... loads of info out there. Last but certainly not least : avoid all stress and heal from (old) trauma that still might be stuck in your body. Hypnotherapy is great to changen old beliefs, reduce anxiety and install the beleif that you can heal. Please listen to Joe Dispenza about how to use your thoughts to help you get better instead of reinforcing your illness. Thoughts = biochemistry effect in the brain and direct influence on the immunesystem. Wish you all the best!
