I have been taking 50mg of opicapone for over a year and I have to take it in the morning because it disturbs my sleep in the evening. As for its effectiveness, if I take it 1 hour before the second dose of C/L, it starts to take effect after 30 minutes instead of 1 hour. So for me, Opicapone gives a few more minutes per day of effectiveness than C/L.

I added Opicapone to my Madopar 6 months ago and it’s been life changing.

1 x 50 mg taken at 9.00pm extends my On time from 3/4.hours to 7 hours and I stopped one dose of Madopar

No side effects whatsoever
