It might be a better dopamine agonist: "Tavapadon is the first and only D1/D5 partial agonist under investigation as a once-daily treatment for Parkinson's disease." After approval it will be interesting to see what the actual adverse effects are.
Great news! Only for early Parkinson’s?
I was in one of the multiple studies and having PD for over five years. It was a game changer for me personally. I was 90% ON with minimal C/L supplementing needed. When the study was over, February 2023, I realized how good the drug had worked. No other drug combinations came close to the results I was having. I’ve written and emailed the company multiple times to try to get access to the drug again, put was told I couldn’t until the drug was approved by the FDA.

I read they are on time for approval in 2025. I love some optimism with this disease because usually there isn’t any. I believe there are lots of clinical trials coming to fruition with good results. I pray sooner than I
