more information suggesting a carnivore diet might be best for optimal health
There are many many papers saying the opposite. Laurie Mischley’s research shows for PD symptoms worsen fast for people eating meat and dairy.
We eat some meat so as not to go extreme but lots of plants too. I think balanced is the most sensible approach.
I don't know what to believe any more... Every now and then a groundbreaking research comes along and every one jumps on the wagon, and after a few years it turns out to be manipulated and fraudulent.
What about lectins and oxalates in vegetables and there damaging affect??
I think the worry about them is overdone. Bean, lentils and chickpeas.. cook in a pressure cooker and most lectins are destroyed. You can cut gluten out of the diet.
Oxalates can build up over time so just make sure you aren’t eating too many oxalates high foods like spinach, rhubarb, raspberries…
Some reactions to these foods are I believe caused by a compromised gut lining.
the proof for me is that all the blue zone long life expectancy communities eat these foods.
