I had hernia surgery a week ago, and it seems to have made my gastroparesis worse. I had started taking Iberogast about 3 weeks prior to the surgery, but it has had minimal effect. Has anyone dealt with this issue before? What helped? Thank you in advance for your responses.
Gastroparesis: I had hernia surgery a week... - Cure Parkinson's
Gastroparesis
I'm 65 and have had what has been labeled Gastroparesis. I think Achlorhydria is more accurate. I've used betaine HCL capsules and a few drops of Muriatic acid which have helped with bloating and other GI problems. The VA told me in the 1980s that they could give me a prescription for HCL. They discouraged me though.
i have read in many places that antibiotics can cause/worsen pd. when i had my hernia surgery my pd symptoms worsened. i can only conclude they give a broad spectrum antibiotic during the surgery.
i take senna, 28mg, from wmart every day. my dr's have encouraged this as it works for me.
I have found a Bidet to help with constipation. You can purchase from Amazon for ~$25.00-$30.00. My husband was able to install it!
I found a cure for my wife’s gastroparesis from a weight loss doctor named Amy Lee her company is Nucific. Two of her products were all my wife needed to take to repair her digestive system. Bio X4 and Digestive Enzyme. Probiotics are pasteurized by many inept suppliers which kills their products.
