We are on vacation in London (Mayfair) and somehow, I didn’t bring enough Sinemet (25/100) 🙄. I’m hoping to find a doctor to write me a prescription for 5 pills. Does anyone have a suggestion for the best way to go about that? I don’t want to ask the hotel because I’m afraid the doctor will cost way more than the pills! Thanks.

We were in a similar position once a few years ago. Here’s what to do.
Find a pharmacy nearby and ask for their professional contact details.
Call your own surgery and ask for a prescription to be sent on-line to this pharmacy and then collect your meds.

I had a similar thing happen to me. Was on vacation in Cuba about 10 years ago. My wife does the packing but I take total responsibility for the problem for not double checking. While unpacking I realized that my Sinemet prescription was not there. It was early in my Parkinsons progression and I thought I would be fine for the week without it. My wife was sure I would not make it through the week without it. I had to go to the doctor at the resort and pay to be diagnosed with Parkinsons. Then I had to wait a couple of days for her to source medication. The medication she got was not the same as what I was taking but the doctor assured me that it was used to treat Parkinsons. Everything turned out fine ,with the exception of the Insurance company refusing to pay for the doctors visit or medication.
