"Colonna Brothers is recalling 1.5-ounce Marcum Ground Cinnamon and 2.25-ounce Supreme Tradition Ground Cinnamon distributed to retailers nationwide and through mail order due to the potential health risk of elevated lead levels, the North Bergen, New Jersey-based company stated Wednesday in a notice posted by the Food and Drug Administration.
The recall expands on an earlier one announced by the company in March, and adds to a growing tally of spice makers pulling their products from the market."
