Updating Your Profile and Email Preferences on HealthUnlocked

Are you looking to customize your experience on HealthUnlocked? Follow these simple steps to update your profile and email preferences:

Accessing Your Settings

1. Click on your profile picture in the top right corner of any HealthUnlocked page and select “Settings”.

Updating Your Profile

1. In your “Settings” page, you can update your language settings, data sharing preferences, email address, and password.

2. To change your email address, scroll down to the “Change my email address” section, enter your new email address twice, and click “Save changes”. HealthUnlocked will send you a verification email to complete the process.

Managing Email Notifications

1. In your “Email Notifications” page, you can update your email contact preferences. Note that it is not currently possible to opt out from on-site pop-ups.

2. At the bottom of every email from HealthUnlocked, there will be an option to update your contact preferences. Clicking on this will redirect you to your HealthUnlocked settings page.

3. You can opt-in or out of receiving emails about opportunities (e.g., surveys, clinical trials, paid market research) at any time by updating your email notification preferences or by selecting ‘unsubscribe’ at the bottom of the opportunities emails.

By following these steps, you can personalize your HealthUnlocked experience and stay in control of your email preferences. Happy exploring!

pdp......Thanks for posting about profiles as I started one last night to say that if people want more good advice from others you should at least say when you were diagnosed, something about your med/dosing routine & main symptoms, plus country, as meds have different names and availability.

It makes it easier/faster if it's right there, instead of waiting for responses. Nobody is asking for your address or cell #, just what is relevant here for individual recommendations.

Plus their age as well bcos many times, age related illnesses could be confused as or get mixed up with PD symptoms

The problem is, unless posts like are pinned at the top somewhere, many PwP will continue to ask for advice on very complicated situations, while giving zero relevant information about themselves

Thanks Grumpy, I forgot age, very important as you said. More info, better guidance.
