Using Natural Zeolite as a Transporter of Dopamine
This is fascinating. I've wondered if we're going to see an explosion in PD cases as children on the autism spectrum age. Similar to the mechanism where children born with Down syndrome (exposure to environmental toxins during pregnancy) develop Alzheimer's as adults. Zeolite is not just for detoxification - maybe we should add Zeolite to the list of supplements to treat neurodegeneration.

Edit: Ganglionic dysfunction is the basis for both autism and Parkinson's disease.
Thanks for reminding me of Zeolite. It is one of the first supplements I tried. I stopped 2 years ago when I started thinking it might be boosting my immune system and be pro-inflammatory. Here is my last post on the topic: I am ending my current Zeolite experiment healthunlocked.com/cure-par...
Time for me to circle back and study this again. Thanks.
Hi,
Did Zeolite help when you tried it ?! .
There are not many new medical articles related to PD:.

Did Zeolite help when I tried it? I don't know. I feel pretty good, but I've done and I do a lot of things: rbd-pd-protocols.blogspot.com/
This paper you found is very exciting. Zeolite and Neurodegenerative Diseases 2024 ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articl...
"Regarding Parkinson’s disease, the hypothesis that the disease could start in the gut and spread to the brain [45] is even more beyond doubt. One of the most convincing pieces of evidence comes from the study of Holmqvist and colleagues [46] showing the propagation of α-synuclein retrogradely from the periphery to the brain. The authors injected the wall of the stomach and duodenum of rats with a substantia nigra lysate from a PD patient (confirmed to contain different α-synuclein forms) and demonstrated that α-synuclein from the injected lysate was taken up and transported via the vagal nerve to the brain. Even more, they confirmed their findings using labeled recombinant α-synuclein forms (monomers, oligomers, and fibrils), further strengthening the hypothesis that PD pathology may arise in the gut and gradually propagate to the brain, where it eventually could lead to PD. This is in line with Braak’s observations that Lewy pathology first manifests in enteric neurons of the gut long before it is present in dopaminergic neurons of the midbrain and PD symptoms are evident [47]."
I am going to give serious thought to at least periodically adding Zeolite back to my stack.
Thanks for sharing.
PS: I think the liquid forms of Zeolite are a rip-off. Let me know if you are planning on getting some and I will dive back into where the best source might be.
