Steadiwear’s Gloves: Innovative Vibration Therapy Gloves: A New Horizon for Parkinson’s and Carpal Tunnel Syndrome Management

Technology Behind the Gloves:

The gloves utilize cutting-edge vibration therapy technology. This therapy works by sending gentle, therapeutic vibrations through the hands, helping to reduce tremor amplitude and improve motor control. The vibrations can also provide sensory feedback, which is beneficial for those with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, as it helps in reducing pain and improving hand function.

The Science of Vibration Therapy:

Vibration therapy is based on the principle of sensory input modulation. The gentle vibrations from the gloves provide a steady stream of sensory input, which can help ‘distract’ the brain from the tremors or pain signals. This method has shown promising results in clinical studies, offering a new avenue for managing symptoms non-pharmacologically.

Benefits for Parkinson’s Patients:

For individuals with Parkinson’s, these gloves can be life-changing. The vibrations help in stabilizing the hands, reducing the severity of tremors. This stability is crucial in performing daily activities like writing, eating, or using a phone. Moreover, the psychological benefit of regaining hand control cannot be overstated, as it fosters independence and boosts self-esteem.

I have a vibrating massage ball which I found to be helpful and costs around $30. The brand I have is no longer in production but there are many available:

So... the drawing of the glove on the first link looks totally different than the product on the second link. And the product says it vibrates but requires no charging or batteries. How can it vibrate without a power source? Does it harness the power of the tremor?

There is a 30 day money back guarantee ... alas, they are sold out. But it has given me an idea. I have a wrap for my carpal tunnel and a buzzy ball like the one mentioned above. I'm going to try to rig something up, and experiment.
