The Latest Research from Tass Lab

Join us for a conversation about the latest research from Tass Lab, which is designed to impact the course of diseases like Parkinson’s, stroke and tinnitus, with the possibility of influencing numerous other diseases. Their technology appears to induce long-lasting relief with stimulation that is only delivered for a few hours on an intermittent or regular basis.

Thank you, I've registered. I have boxing class during that time so will watch later.

I've had vision problems that pre-date PD by decades. I had LASIK and lost my ability to drive at night. Rigid lenses gave me back some vision but Meibomian gland dysfunction means I have less ability to endure the lenses all day. But more importantly the speakers say PD does not lead to blindness, rather it leads to things like double vision, a problem I've had for years. Wearing a patch over one eye solves the problem for me.

I attended the zoom meeting which was shorter (i.e. exactly 1 HR including Q&A) than the previous presentations. Very little new information was presented. The gloves will be available "hopefully" by 2025 or 2026. By the way, Kanwar Bhutani also attended; I have a screenshot but I do not know if I am allowed to post it here.

well that's disappointing. no new info. wonder why such a big date disparity? a whole year is a big difference. how is kanwar bhutani doing now? thanks for letting us know.

The delay was not explained by Dr. Tass but he did mention that there were already 10,000 people who signed up as volunteers in the trials. Kanwar merely watched but did not provide any inputs; what I found encouraging is that the most famous user of the gloves is still very much interested in following the latest developments.
