He's the second person I've seen claim PD is caused by excess dopamine, not a deficiency.

If he is sugesting inhibiting tyrosine hydroxylase then the result would be tyrosine hydroxylase deficiency, wouldn't it? But if that is the case then what about this? medlineplus.gov/genetics/co...

My understanding is that JSB intends to use his Phase 2 trial to investigate whether there is a sweet spot regarding the amount of tyrosine hydroxylase inhibition.

"Tyrosine hydroxylase helps convert the protein building block (amino acid) tyrosine to a catecholamine called dopamine..."The article calls it an infantile condition and quite rare. The original article claimed PD happens with excess dopamine, not a deficiency.
