Randomized Controlled Trial of Community-Based Dancing to Modify Disease Progression in Parkinson Disease

"For the MDS-UPDRS-3, there was no significant change in the Control group from baseline to 12 months, whereas the Tango group had a reduction of 28.7% (12.8 points)."

If that kind of improvement came from a drug it would be worldwide headlines.

I took part in a trial at King's College Hospital, London - similar to the above but for ballet. Results published this autumn I believe. Will update.

About an hour's drive for us, there is a place that holds Dancing for PD, and the YMCA's in that area have Ping Pong and Boxing for PD. Nothing in our locale yet, however, there are Zoom sessions. Getting a lot of positive feedback.
