I think it might be. My husbands occupational therapist always said his “tracking” was off. She had some exercises to improve this which you may be able to find more of. She liked to use the Connect 4 game and have him drop checkers in the slots to improve hand eye tracking.
I have heard that the problem is bradykinesia (Bradykinesia means slowness of movement and speed (or progressive hesitations/halts) as movements are continued). Your fingers move at different speeds so you type letters out of order. I am not sure about this.
"When impairments in eye-hand coordination appear with aging or in Parkinson's disease (PD), these actions become progressively com- promised during high-velocity and accurate movements. Slowness and disturbances in the sequence of motor actions required to perform eye-hand coordination movements can be observed."
PD affects the subconscious brain. SO! IF YOU WANT TO OVERCOME ANY PROBLEM CAUSED BY PD THEN START USING YOUR CONSCIOUS BRAIN TO CONTROL WHAT YOU WAN TO DO.
When you walk, you must concengtrate on each movement and your posture, at all times. When writing, you may need to concentrate on each letter, etc.
Good luck!
