our gov't spends... 250 BILLION $$$ yearly on HEALTH COSTS related to PD
so for every dollar spent on 'research' ... $100 dollars is spent on 'PD care'
so do you still think we are spending enough money on PD research?
p.s. it cost about 3 BILLION $$$ in research to come up with the cocktail of drugs to defeat AID/HIV (NOT cure it ... but manage it with DRUGS for a lifetime)
in aggregate .... over 70 years of PD research ... 70 YEARS ... sure... "billions"
divided that by '70' and you get a PITTANCE of what is truly needed to beat PD
