Edit :

This post is meant to encourage discussion on whether among the many effects suggested by the article, perhaps radioactive ash might have a bearing on Parkinson Disease.?

We learn new things every so often that points to people being exposed to chemicals and other such stuff radiation etc that affects our health. Oftentimes, we don't learn about these things until something happens such as a movie.

This is just speculation on my part and in no way suggests any links between Parkinson and radiation.

I only suggested that the movie has sparked a discussion on the subject of harmful contamination caused by government action.

-------

Here are the salient points from the article and a summary:

Salient Points:

• The article criticizes the new film "Oppenheimer" for ignoring an important group of people.

• This group faced the aftermath of the first atomic bomb blast and experienced the radiation fallout.

• However, the new film "Oppenheimer" does not portray their story or experiences.

Summary:

The article criticizes the fact that the new film "Oppenheimer" ignores a large group of people who were the first to experience the aftermath and radiation fallout from the atomic bomb testing. These people faced the dangers and consequences of the initial atomic blast but their story and experiences are not portrayed in the new film about J. Robert Oppenheimer. The article argues that this omission devalues the experiences of those affected by the real-life event that the film is based on.

The post was suggesting that maybe the radioactive ash could be one reason for Parkinsons disease. I think the article explored the fact that the American public were never informed about the experiment (for obvious reasons) which in turn resulted in the exposure of many to harmful radiation that could have impacted vulnerable Parkinson risk patients.

Makes sense?

yes a lot, the radioactive elements then spread throughout the planet, there have been more than a thousand experiments with atomic bombs since then on the planet.

I hypothesize that all of the various pollutants are excused by people because they don't see immediate effects, and because people really want to trust that there is some magical regulatory agency that is monitoring and keeping the corporations accountable. I think, that is the kind of thing that keeps many dangerous processes around with no real regulation or response to resulting illness.
