Yes. It made me nervous and gave me insomnia.

I took a small dose of it for about 10 years - used it to get on airplanes, before nervous making events, to help when having a panic attack. My grown children take it too. I no longer take it as I take Klonopin for restless legs at night. None of us had any difficulties with it.

I was prescribed Ativan for leg cramps, but my current neuro prefers Valium. The Ativan took away the cramping, made me sleepy and relaxed.

Yes, I take .5 mg once at bed time, and once in the middle of the night. I then take first thing in the morning. I have found that it really helps with my dystonia and it helps me sleep. Not sure how muhc it helps with my anxiety, it must, because I don't feel like an anxious person.
