What hasn’t seemed to change in the last decade, is the hope that a new better treatment is “ just around the corner”. It must be a very long curve in the road!

It will be interesting to see what comes out of China. The average prevalence of PD in the Han population in China is ~3.9‰ of those ≥50 years of age (2). It is estimated that the number of Chinese patients with PD will increase to 4.94 million by 2030, accounting for half of PD patients worldwide.

it is the first time I have heard of social media listening. The report says Social media listening (SML) is a new process for obtaining information from social media platforms to generate insights into users' experience.
