Would like to hear from anyone with PD and had spinal stenosis surgery. Please let me know the type of surgery you had and if the pain went away after the surgery. Thank you !

Yes, the symptoms were largely cured. And I had an amazing surgeon who does the operation without any pain

I had a laminectomy 2017. C 3, through C7. I woke up partially paralyzed. I have since found many other effective methods without surgery. Making it the last resort.

My hep had spinal stenosis with sciatic pain down both legs. The surgeon made a small incision at the spine area and scraped excess bone off opening up the space that was causing the pinched nerve. My husbznd went home within 48 hours. I think I remember one night in the hospital and was Odin free after that. This was 2012. Good luck and God bless you in you journey. You are in my prayers

i had spinal stenosis real bad. Had laminectomy with fusion and it was better but I herniated another disc and had to have a second surgery. Recovery was a little slower the second time. It’s been 7 months and I’m just now getting back into the gym and walking 5000 to 10,000 steps a day. It’s not easy.

At least it helped me qualify for SS Disability Benefits and I don’t have to worry about struggling with working anymore. Having a fused spine has its drawbacks though. I can’t bend much at all. And I’m extra careful now because I don’t want to have any more problems!
