Parkinson's Supplements Enigma

I've heard (or read) that there might be many varieties of Parkinson's - possible 50 or more.

Also that some people with PD have Lewy bodies and some don't, and that some people who don't have Parkinson's have Lewy bodes while others who don't have it don't.

If this is the case, then might it not mean that some supplements//treatments would be helpful for some people with a particular version of PD, while they wouldn't be helpful and might ever be harmful for others?
