maybe an update will be provided at the webinar on January 19th

herantis.com/press-releases...

I have emailed Herantis to ask if there are upcoming trials, if there will be any US trials, if they are seeking approval from the FDA, and asking if they expect CDNF to be available in the US and if so when

However, CRSJ (the herb Cistanche ) administration elevated the expression levels of the neurotrophic factors CDNF and MANF, as well as those of p-PI3K and p-AKT. The CRSJ compound can relieve endoplasmic reticulum stress in PD rats and exerts protective effects in this animal model. These effects may be related to increased expression of neurotrophic factors and activation of the PI3K/AKT pathway.

This was a good study:

hindawi.com/journals/ecam/2...

"After the 14-day period to induce PD in the animals,...These successfully modeled animals were randomly divided into the model group and the low-, medium-, and high-dose CRSJ compound groups with 10 rats in each group... Immediately after confirming PD in the animals, they were treated once a day for 14 consecutive days with either different CRSJ doses or an equivalent saline volume"

They allowed actual PD to develop first, and then showed efficacy - partial recovery, which is good under the circumstances. Takes a high dose though: "human daily CRSJ dosage of 10 g per person "

This is a combination treatment: "CRSJ granules, composed of Cistanche deserticola, Polygonatum spp., Salvia miltiorrhiza, red peony root, and peony skin"

I have located the various ingredients except for the peony skin which does not seem to me to be well defined. I wish they had stated the proportions of the different ingredients.
