I came here to see if anyone had posted anything about IMO as I suspected that my husband had it and sure enough a lactulose breat test showed he has high levels. He did have high levels of methanogens a couple of years ago on a stool test.

I suspected that he was not absorbing the mucuna caps he was taking as he needs so many of them to have any effect and IMO can affect absorption. The methane can apparently affect movement too and that is what seems to be happening to my husband.

It needs more than L-reuteri to reduce it but it's certainly something he is going to try.
