Nightmares
If you find a solution let me know.
Do you take melatonin? My husband has Parkinson's but when I tried to take melatonin for sleep problems it gave me horrible nightmares. I have no idea why this happened but it was consistent so now I try to use other things to help with sleep like glycine, chamomile tea, etc
Goid luck. So am I! Peaceful meditation, about an hour, before I go to bed, where I don’t worry about my problems, my country’s civil unrest, or Putin’s threats of nuclear Armageddon, is helpful! I can get nightmares, when I worry that I could get shot at a grocery or retail store, or at a concert, school, or club, by a mass shooter, in my country, at any time, and other concerns! Also, worrying about getting around and doing things, having PD, and Arthritis, and Cerebellar Ataxia, can give me nightmares! There is a lot of road rage, and cannabis/meth drug abuse, in my country, where people get really mean, toward others. Every day I see that, in the city, where I live. I can get nightmares thinking about that! So, deep breathing relaxing technique, plus meditation, helps prevent me from having nightmares! Perhaps meditation could help you, too! I do not take any medicine sleeping aids! When I was prescribed Ambien, a few years ago, I had a bad tonic/clonic seizure! Good luck!
I don't get nightmares, but do get RBD. Try melatonin. I currently take 40 mg at night. Also klonopin might help. Ask your doctor.
I find melatonin and CBD oil does the trick.
CBD oil helps me it seems
I take 2 and a half of 25 mg. of Quetiapine Brand name: Seroquel this seems to control the nightmares for me.
