Has anyone here tried the subcutaneous apomorphine pump (eg. APO-GO or DACEPTON) without taking C/L yet?

Here it is:

My husband is at a point where his symptoms are up and down almost daily. Can't remember the last time he had a "good" day. His neurologist mentioned this or something like this but it requires a tube inserted into the abdomen. She said wait until next year 2023 when they are coming our with a patch. It's something new which gives you a more steady flow of the c/l so you are on more than off. It has little needles which are easier and felt less than needle pricks for other things. Sorry that I don't have a name for it but I will ask!

apo is for advanced disease. Its a drug just as c/l is a drug. I am curious why you ask about taking it before c/l. Its primary use is to even out motor fluctuations

As a veterinarian Apomorphine was a common drug. I used it as an emetic. The pills were very small. For an animal that's ingested a poison the pill is pushed under the eyelid. Within minutes the patient has voluminous vomiting.
