Anyone tried Amazon's pharmacy? C/L price seems too good to be true.

Wondering if anyone has had experience with Amazon Pharmacy? I just priced a 90-day supply of generic carbidopa/levadopa at $22.10 without insurance. My copay through my insurance company are $57.40 for the same quantity.

Any issues I should be aware of such as quality or consistency?

I'm asking about the Amazon Pharmacy, not their Pillpack service. My mother uses Pillpack and they have been great.

I don't know anything about Amazon Pharmacy but, for reasons I will never understand, carbidopa levodopa is cheaper at my local pharmacy if I just pay cash instead of using my insurance and co-pay.

I’d be careful. I pay $12.00 for a 90 day supply but the info with it says it would be $357.00 without insurance. You don’t want to use Amazon for your pharmacy. They buy crap wherever they can find it the cheapest which isn’t great when you’re talking about your drugs

That price is not unusual. Here is what goodrx has to say about it:

I did not specify dosage or time-release and those variables can make a difference.

Levodopa should be a cheap drug, it’s basically an amino acid. (Remember it can be produced cheaply in small quantities by small producers from Mucuna pruriens) I read that generic Sinemet cost is around 10 cents a tablet
