Itching reaction sinemet

Just switched from Sinemet ir to cr. I have started trunk itching reaction aftet a week that seems correlated with off periods. Has anyone else had this. Thank You!!

It could be a filler in the tablets, not the drug. Is it a generic or the brand name version?

How much of the IR were you taking? The CR my hubby found too strong and he was itching too . Always wanting me to scratch his back. It seems to build up over time so he was having more severe reactions to it every day until in desperation he stopped and changed the next day back to the original 62.5 capsules. We couldn’t get hold of any medical people at the time so just made our own call that it couldn’t be any worse than another day of what he was going through . Luckily he is now much better again on the lower dose.

i sneeze when i dose...every time...2-5 sneezes within 20 minutes of dosing...hang tough..

Yellow dye in the 125 mg levodopa carbidopa.
