Apparently this recent post slipped by unnoticed. To answer the question, ' Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation helps RLS & depression so can it help PD? ', yes, it can according to this new (May 2022) meta analysis :

pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/356...

Here is a relevant quote from the meta analysis :

>>> ' rTMS therapy is an effective treatment for motor symptoms of PD and the individualized stimulation protocols for different symptoms would further improve its clinical efficacy. ' <<<

“Not only does transcranial magnetic stimulation repair damaged neurons in the prefrontal cortex. It also increases serotonin production. As this happens, it can simultaneously repair damaged parts of the brain. Unlike electroconvulsive therapy (ECT), patients are able to stay awake during TMS.Sep 27, 2018”

I do not know if this is a reliable info source but it’s an interesting claim.
