There is a wealth of information here. You will have to channel it in the right way as you navigate along various topics/ personal experiences. Hope that it helps you.
Welcome Rifca,
Probably the best way to get some help for your brother is to tell us about him. How’s he faring, what problems does he have, what meds is he on, as well as any vitamins and supplements.
We really care about our fellow members and are happy to pass on anything that’s helped us and others.

Hi Rifca I am 74. After diagnosis in 2016 I researched widely for a forum like this. I see the advantages of Health Unlocked as having the benefit of objective, highly intelligent and often very specialised opinion from around the world all helping you to understand what you can do to improve quality of life. There are no personal feuds, no pettiness, and everyone wants to assist however trivial you may think a problem is. It also pulls together much of the content of other self-help sites. Good luck and welcome!
Welcome to thje club! I was personally diagnosed in 1992 and put on medicatoion and by 2002 I had stopped all meds and have not been back on them ever since.
If you give me your email address I will email my videos and details of what I did. It costs nothing and, unless your brother has something else that would prevent him from starting to walk regularly then he can benefit from this as hundreds of others have.
My husband has Parkinsons and I have found Health Unlocked and a couple facebook sites to be very helpful in terms of information.
I am 73 and diagnosed in 2013. Two points I know for sure--if you know one person with PD, you know that person with PD. Every case/symptoms/treatment are unique. Second, exercise is very critical and only proven so far that may slow the disease.
