If anybody downloaded my Theta wave binaural Beats maybe you should delete them if you have PD. Theta is probably the wrong target for PD. Maybe try these instead:

Rosicrucian Mysteries: Alpha and Gamma waves.

5 MP3s, each 50 minutes long.

You can see my notes here: Binaural Beats for PD 12-27-2022.pdf

DON'T LISTEN WHILE DRIVING. HEADPHONES/EAR BUDS REQUIRED. DON'T LISTEN TOO LOUD. AND REMEMBER: I HAVE A HIGH SCHOOL DEGREE.

I put all the links to the files on this new Binaural Beats website: pdprotocols.atwebpages.com/...

Beta Waves:

I saw this paper from 2017: Short-Term Effects of Binaural Beats on EEG Power, Functional Connectivity, Cognition, Gait and Anxiety in Parkinson's Disease researchgate.net/publicatio... and they used beta waves.

==============================

Short-Term Effects of Binaural Beats on EEG Power, Functional Connectivity, Cognition, Gait and Anxiety in Parkinson's Disease 2018 researchgate.net/publicatio...

"The use of binaural-rhythm stimulation for PD, as designed in this study, seems to be an effective, portable, inexpensive and noninvasive method to modulate brain activity. This influence on brain activity did not induce changes in anxiety or gait parameters; however, it resulted in a normalization of EEG power (altered in PD), normalization of brain FC (also altered in PD) and working memory improvement (a normalizing effect). In summary, we consider that sound, particularly binaural-rhythmic sound, may be a co-assistant tool in the treatment of PD, however more research is needed to consider the use of this type of stimulation as an effective therapy."

"BBs (tones rhythmically at 120 bpm, sinusoidal waveform (154Hz in the left channel and 168Hz in the right channel), which created a 14Hz BB at the brainstem; 10 min.

-Control stimulation: BBs without the rhythmically (pink noise); 10 min."

Theta Waves:

Brain Responses to a 6-Hz Binaural Beat: Effects on General Theta Rhythm and Frontal Midline Theta Activity ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articl...

Listening to a 6 hz binaural beat (250 hz left, 256 hz right) for 10 minutes will put almost all of your brain to a theta wave per EEG. Theta is where you want to get when you meditate. PwP brains get stuck at 20 hz all over, so maybe getting your brain to 6 hz is a good thing. Maybe that is why meditation helps?

Interestingly, the theta waves in the brain are in the most areas at the 10 minute mark and they start to go down.

Also, AND IMPORTANT: "Paired t-tests indicated that anger and fatigue significantly increased, while vigor significantly decreased compared to baseline. The rest of the factors, including tension, depression, and confusion were not significantly different." THIS IS NOT WHAT YOU EXPECT TO GET FROM MEDITATION.

So... might make you tired and depressed, but does get at least some of the brain into theta waves.

100 hz Info:

Be aware: Per this study nature.com/articles/s41598-... one month of 70 DB 100 hz damaged the vestibule of mice: "Our experimental studies have shown that constitutive exposure to sound with a peak of 100 Hz, 70 dB for 1 month caused impairment of the vestibule in mice29,30. Therefore, it is possible that the target organ for the sound component at 100 Hz in music is the vestibule."

Per Google "70 decibels is as loud as a washing machine or a dishwasher. It is a moderate noise level. 70 dB noise is not considered harmful to human hearing. However, extended exposure to levels above 55-60 dB can be considered disturbing or become annoying."

So be careful out there.
