Apologies for those who joined us tonight as we were victims of "Zoom Bombing", a process by which several individuals disrupted the presentation and made sure it was impossible for us to continue. We will be rescheduling the presentation very shortly and will make sure that we are taking measures to protect ourselves.
Thank you very much for your patience.

So sorry to hear of the disruption, we weren’t able to join this time. We really enjoyed the previous presentation that we attended. Such a shame some mindless individuals sort to disrupt this Zoom meeting!
I am pretty much computer illiterate and didn't even know what zoom bombing was but I just looked it up and found this: How to Prevent Zoom Bombing: 7 Tips
While a Zoom bombing can happen to anyone, there are steps you can take to reduce the chances of an attack. Zoom recently rolled out new security options that you can configure during an active call, and you can also secure your meeting in advance by disabling and enabling the right settings beforehand. pandasecurity.com/en/mediac...
Hi everyone,Thank you very much for your messages of support. Yesterday was a truly awful experience.
We have identified the email address of the hackers but this is not going to help us.
Despite restricting screen sharing to the host, they were still able to take over control of the session, probably by exploiting a security flaw in Zoom.
Our sessions are now regularly attracting 300+ participants and we need to adapt to this wider audience and the risks related to our increased visibility.
One possibility is that we will restrict the Zoom meetings to the host and the speaker and then stream the Zoom session on YouTube.
For participants, this will be similar to watching TV on YouTube.
We will reschedule yesterday’s session as soon as we have a robust solution in place.

I am so sorry, Michael. Your idea of zoom meetings only between you and the speaker and on to YouTube is excellent. That way, all PwP will have ample time to watch the presentation. Prior commitments, time difference, etc., make zoom meeting not easy to attend.
I got plenty of ideas I was specifically addressing this (subject) presentation by Dr. Sackner-Bernstein. I am looking forward to watching his presentation when Michael has successfully zoomed with him and on to You Tube.
Remember, I might not have the time you have to watch You Tube. I barely have time to other more important commitments. . .
