FYI: The organizer for an upcoming Zoom presentation with Dr. Jonathan Sackner-Bernstein has graciously permitted that link/s to the event be shared with forum members (*MJFF team members will be in attendance as well):

"Dear Friends,

"We are delighted to have Dr. Jonathon Sackner-Bernstein join us via Zoom on Wednesday, June 30th at 2:00 pm, with a presentation entitled, “What If The Model of Parkinson's Disease Were Backwards?”.

"Dr. Sackner-Bernstein, is a former senior official of the United States Food and Drug Administration, who gained international acclaim when he used publicly available data to demonstrate the lack of efficacy of a multibillion-dollar cardiac drug. He has recently identified a novel candidate drug therapy for Parkinson's disease (patent pending). His research offers a new theory about the causes (and potential treatments) for Parkinson's, which could upend the prevailing treatments for the disease.

"Here are links to Dr. Sackner-Bernstein’s biography, his Parkinson’s study and an essay describing the process of discovery:

I couldn't see the Zoom meeting on 6/30/2021 but I'd like to know if people who watched the presentation found the doctor's theory credible.

MJFF team participated, asked questions that indicated genuine interest, and promised further discussion. This, along with the collective interest of other participants, suggest most - if not all - found it quite credible

Thank you for the response.

I've got mixed feelings about the doctor's theory that the model of Parkinson's disease could be backwards. If it is so, then all research has been chasing its tail for decades. It would certainly take considerable time to bring research to a correct course, but at least it would finally be a correct course.
