Using NGS (Next Generation Sequencing) including CNV (Copy Number Variation).

Interesting. I'm not familiar with NGS. At first glance, it doesn't look like the 23 and Me test, which supposedly looks for common Parkinson’s mutations. Why did you choose NGS? How much does it cost? Did you pick the particular panel?

It is a local genetic consultation company that creates personal plan and does consultation with my neurologist. They say if they find mutations they can perdict the progression rate and do other recommendation. I choose bcs it is a local provider that I can call anytime. It costs 1000EUR. I hope my insurance will refund me.

Good luck , friend! I hope you get what you're looking for out of this. I already know their recommendations are going to be eat kale and take vitamins. Best case scenario, your insurance coughs up the $ and Intelia edits your specific mutations!

Ask for a copy of the file with your full results in it then you can use it to see if you have other mutations that aren’t directly related to PD but might affect health.
