PTCL is potentially curable with chemotherapy. The median progression free survival (PFS) following CHOP chemotherapy is 12 to 14 months. Approximately 20 to 30% of patients will be alive, and disease free, 5 years after the completion of treatment.
Tough news, I'm sorry to hear it. We are 7x more likely to get cancer....but stats are just numbers until it hits home. It will be how many of us beat Parkinson's. Thoughts and prayers from all at HU. 🙏. Big hug.
When I first started taking C/L my neurologist had me go to a dermatologist for a check up. He said that by taking the medication and increase your chances for skin cancer. Thanks for the reminder! I should make an appointment with my dermatologist again. It’s not one thing it’s another!
Have you heard Roy how cancer loves sugar? A no/low sugar diet helps starve the cancer from what I’ve been reading
Humor, laughter, enjoyment, love, peace, rest and then more laughter, memory of things past and then a plan to facilitate the same for tomorrow. Involve family and friends and go where you want and do what you want now , do not wait until you feel better. Six days, six months , six years, sixty years , none of us know, it could be six minutes from now. Make the best of it for the rest of your life.
