Sinemet v carbo levodopa g

Sinemet is the Origina make/brand for levodopa and I have always had this made by Merrick Sharp Dohme

Recently in found to my cost that it longer under special licence and it can be made by anyone now, but I was unaware that they would have such a different effect on me. They don’t work well at all and they are used now as they are much.

RThey are called simply called co careldopa and I have brands by somex and teva which the worst.

I am trying to find out if anyone else has the same problems my doctor thinks it s my imagination but they definitely are not working properly

Some times they last a very short time and sometimes they don’t work at all

I had a problem like this a couple of years ago. When I got my prescription refilled for c/l they changed the manufacturer, and they didn't work the same.

At least in the US, this is an issue to be worked out by the pharmacist, and not the doctor (i.e., tell the pharmacist the manufacturer you want and ask them if they can get it for you).

FYI, you can tell the manufacturer by the markings embossed on the tablet (and its color and shape).

Didn’t work well for me either. My specialist said that she had other patients who said the same.
