Hi folks,

My Neurologist and PD Nurse have advised me to try Apomorphine for off times beginning next week

Has anybody used Apomorphine for off times ?? and if so could you please share your experiences good or bad

My husband used it for a couple of years. It worked really well for him, but it is annoying injecting yourself and it only lasts for about an hour.

Apparently the sublingual version was recently approved and this might be much easier, but it’s quite expensive.

It works on slightly different pathways, so it’s absolutely worth trying!

Thank you very much.. Glad it worked for your husband and yes I believe it only lasts for 1 hour which isn’t long really ... I don’t think the sublingual one is available in the UK yet and the price doesn’t really come into it here as fortunately for me I can get it free on prescription from our wonderful N.H.S.....Thanks again 🙏😀
