Three years on. Post dx 9 years.
Diagnosed 2012
My regimen:
The positives after B1: no bradykinesia, I cut my food with a knife, no button difficulties, brush my teeth now w/o needing elect brush, more strength. Getting in and out of bed, turning over is easier. No more constipation. Parkinson's progression stopped. Suppressed most motor and non-motor symptoms...
Entering my 9th year post diagnosis and have not fallen, not once, to the surprise of my neuro.
New schedule and new neurologist (as of December 2019), now I follow this regimen:
Four hours apart, 4x day, C/L 25-100mg.
2 x day (8 am 2g, and 2 pm 2g) vitamin B1 (as thiamine HCL) 500mg easy swallow capsules.
Magnesium L-Threonate 2,010mg once per week.
B1 Thiamine therapy reference / stop progression, suppress motor and non-motor symptoms:
(Thiamine HCL is oral substitute to injecting B1) 2 x day (morning 2g and at lunch 2g)
Doctor Costantini strategy that I find helpful "thiamine hcl stops the progression forever...".
Parky people say the first five years is your honeymoon stage with Parkinson's. After that, progression more rapid.
I have gone from slow motion to normal motor action since joining the growing number of PwP that have started B1 regimen/protocol. –
Doctor Costantini - “Why is this? Because there is no medicine or drug that is able to affect all of the organs, whereas all of the organs function thanks to Thiamine. An important detail”, adds doctor Costantini, “the Thiamine therapy brings no collateral damage with time”.
There is an FUS treatment approved in the United States and they do FUS procedures in a clinic call SoniModul in Solothurn, Switzerland. Oh only the doctors who are running those trials and the doctors in Switzerland can tell you if you qualify. There are many FUS threads on this forum. Put FUS in the search window.
Hi Mail\fer.If you would like to reverse your symptoms with a minimal amount of medication then consider doing Fast Walking. It is healthy and everybody should be doing it.
My symptoms started in 1963. I was only diagnosed with Pd in 1992, probably because of all the exercise I had been doing over those 29 years. I was put onto Levodopa medication and after two years, because it had not made me any better, but in fact worse, I was put onto an MAO-b inhibitor and simultaneously I joined a Fast Walking program. Within four months I started to get better. In 2002 I was able to come off the medication and have lived a 'Normal' life since 2002.
Many others are doing the same, abnd although it takes time, it is going in the right direction. It took me eight years to get better, If there are any others getting better and toy don't fancy the walking then give them a try!
If you would like to know more then contact me at johnpepper@telkomsa.net. I will send toy my videos and a lot of valuable information, all free of charge!
