Has anyone had any experience with Homeopathy to treat Parkinsons
Homeopathic treatment : Has anyone had any... - Cure Parkinson's
Homeopathic treatment
Parkinson's is known for it's very high susceptibility to placebo effect.
Nearly anything can heal PD's symptoms, provided you believe in it.
Healing PD... is another story.
Really ?
So what your saying is that to eliminate PD symptoms it is just mind over matter. Kinda like being afflicted with stuttering. Wow , that was a lot of years of unnecessary stress. I will have to try it.
Yes, you were actually born with PD and you only started having symptoms when you gradually forgot it. Take 0.00004 mcg of, oh, its Wednesday so lets say oregano, and a pint of Guinness with a scoop of chocolate ice cream, both about every two months and the symptoms will stop in about six weeks.
What!?? Have you been smoking your socks?
If you just think about PD on alternate Wednesdays, and send me $100 on alternate Tuesdays, you will do as well or better than with homeopathy, symptoms or disease. I promise. If it still hasn't worked when you die, I will refund your money minus a nominal service fee. Sign here.
Look up Dr. Mischley on Google. She knows a lot about PD.
I think homeopathic means different things to different people, so it depends on how you think of it. Some might think of it as nonpharmaceutical therapies (which is too broad a definition) or perhaps diet based therapies.
No, homeopathic therapies will not cure PD.
So if you're asking if nonpharmaceutical therapies have any value, this forum is filled with nonpharmaceutical therapies that people claim have been of significant benefit to them.
For example, there are a lot of people, some on this forum, who say they have greatly benefited by Dr. Wahl's diet, that is, the total elimination of dairy, gluten, and sugar. Others have benefited from high doses of thiamine/vitamin B1. I believe some anti-inflammatory and some antioxidant supplements are beneficial to some people, although the benefit is rarely detectable, but if your following an anti-inflammatory diet/regime, you are surely better off than if you are not.
People pursue nonpharmaceutical therapies because "may" is better than the alternative.
Homeopathic medicine is a specific branch of alternative medicine which uses remedies diluted down to chemically nothing to induce the body to heal. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homeo... . Naturopathic medicine does not equal homeopathy but many misuse the term to mean naturopathy. Some naturopaths practice homeopathy. The misuse of terms is a big pet peeve of mine (second only to FUS surgeries being referred to all being the same LOL). Supplements, herbs and diet are not homeopathy. They are part of naturopathy though.
I use homeopathic medicines (spend a lot on it). I think it's not of much help. I had emailed Dr. Okun and asked whether he has come across some patients who use homeopathy. His answer was yes and further told that some of them get significant relief from it.
I believe Ozone and Red Light therapies are most helpful! Not a cure but alleviate lots of symptoms.
