PD, do you use voice recognition software and if so which one? I'm getting tired of Dragon becoming disconnected.

Hi Marc, I use Dragon 15 professional with a Plantronics wired headset. I am happy so far. You are correct, earlier versions are buggy.

This is expensive software but worth every penny.

I've got 15.61, but need to keep bringing in Speech Gurus remotely to fix it.

Have you tried calling Dragon support?

Yes, but unimpressed. They forced me to upgrade ($150) and their fix lasted a few hours. All the reviews say Dragon is the best, but I'm going to explore Google and Microsoft free voice to text. Probably a waste of time.

Are you u Windows or Macintosh? I am using Windows 10 and the latest updates. I also found that the microphone and speaker hardware matters. A lot unfortunately.

I hear you and I empathize. They are a monopoly and Google or Microsoft don't even come close. It is surprising because they have the advantage.
