Usually I buy my supplements/vitamins on amazon. However in the last few days, I've gone down the rabbit hole of researching the sellers. I was shocked to find that the vast majority of the listings on amazon.co.uk are from essentially 1 man companies with fake holding addresses in London which means they're likely doing their business out of their house/garage. There is no way of knowing what they are selling is safe or even what they're claiming. So be careful what you buy and double check the seller.

Where do you buy your supplements?
My supplements purchased at Amazon US appear to be coming direct from the manufacturers - NOW, Jarrow, Swanson. Confirmed on occasions when Swanson's supplements purchased at Amazon were shipped direct from Swanson.
Lately, I have been finding that Amazon's prices are sometimes higher than the manufacturers. Plus, in the US, through lobbyists and campaign contributions, Amazon created a tax 'carve out' for themselves. I try not to buy from Amazon because they pay no taxes.
It's best to go with known brands from manufacturers with good reputations. Too many incentivized reviews that are backdoor compensated could throw you off when you go by the ratings alone. Check on the Fakespot or install the chrome extension - helps you weed out many although not perfect.
My doctor (integrative, functional medicine) strongly recommends against buying on amazon, because you don’t know under what conditions the supplements have been stored. Some are very susceptible to deterioration from heat. Agree with rescuema. Known brands, good manufacturers, etc. I usually buy Pure, Thorne, Jarrow, Now, Designs fir Health, some others, but not from amazon.
I use NOW supplements and buy them at allstarhealth.com
