Yes indeed, I have as well as many other fellow forum members. It is tough to get the right combination and not all doctors approve or coordinate or cooperate. My experience was quite bad and I gave up because I had adverse speech reactions.

Other members have reported positive results. Before you proceed, consider the following:

1. There's a lot of confusing choices of product and brand and formulation.

2. There's raw unprocessed powdered and processed powder (which ranges from 15% Levodopa to 99% Levodopa). There are reports that the raw unprocessed powder is more helpful and safer. The processed ones are extremely potent and benefits as compared to the pharmaceutical one is questionable. There is a school of thought that the raw unprocessed powder is superior to the processed variety because there are other components of the seeds that enhance the absorption of Levodopa.

I hope that you probably already understand that synthetic/pharmaceutical Levodopa is the exact same as the naturally grown Mucuna/Levodopa in every way including molecular structure. The difference is that we know exactly where mic dosage well are getting free the manufactured versions as opposed to the natural Mucuna version.

3. Inconvenient for many people especially when traveling because you have to carry around bags of suspicious looking powder 😇. Granted that the chances to us traveling by air post Covid-19 are quite slim, nevertheless one has to consider the implications.

4. If you ever land up in the hospital ( in the USA) the doctors and nurses won't know how to account for the Mucuna dosage. That's if they realize what it is. A huge minus. However, to be fair, they also have trouble with brand new medications such as Rytary (Controlled release Carbidopa/Levodopa) which they could not decipher until the next day at the hospital when I was there last year. I ended up not getting any Rytary until then. Bottom line is that if you show up at your hospital with a bag of Mucuna, they will laugh you out the door 🤣.

So please take into account your risk tolerance and proceed accordingly.
