Hello, I haven't tried it, but just wanted to add in that if you do try it, make sure you do it in a safe and trusted place and a place that uses sterile leeches. Since leeches can easily transmit infections to their host if not sterile

How do you sterilize a leech? Look in another direction

You don't sterilize them yourself. The leeches that the therapist uses should be grown and fed in a sterile environment

I thought leeches were used to remove blood? Personally, I've never heard of it used for PD.

Are they supposed to do more than withdraw blood?

I am very sceptical that is why l put the question out there, thanks for responding

I'm glad you're skeptical. It's 2020. If leeches were a legitimate therapy . . .

A lot of wive's tales and cockamamie theories come across the transom and you have to stay on your toes and keep your BS meter finely tuned.

Anything that has worked for anyone is known about on this forum and you can trust that if no one uses it, much less knows about it, don't do it. :)

They're used in plastic surgery to remove excess blood buildup but I have not heard of them used for PD.
