Thanks for sharing! Hows it working for you?

I have no exertional dystonia anymore. I had toes dystonia for nearly 5 years. It’s an amazing programme not only for dystonia but for balance and Neuroplasticity.

This is very interesting to me, as I'm having some issues with foot dystonia. Could you describe your dystonia problems and success in a bit more detail? How long have you been doing it? How long did it take to see results? Were some things more helpful than others? Thanks!

My exertional toes dystonia was my very first and main symptom . I tried everything but it didn’t work. I joined Dr Farias online programme 4-5 months ago and noticed the results within a couple of months. I do training 1-2 hours a day intermittently. I regret why I didn’t join earlier.

The programme initially designed for primary dystonia but since we PwPD shares some pathophysiology with primary dystonia can benefit from the programme.

What is exertional toes dystonia, I've never heard that before.

Exertional dystonia is a dystonia under tense physical activity like fast walk , running or cycling as examples.

Intermittently means? How many times per week? Or you do this when it flares and reduce when it resolves?

Kia17 profile image
Kia17 in reply torebtar

Intermittently during the day. 15 minutes now 10 minutes then.... I do 7 days a week.

The technique balances your brain and prevents short circuit. It brings consciousness to your system.

It takes time. I watched a video from the platform , a woman with Parkinson’s disease who recovered from her symptoms almost completely.

The members can see that video in patients experience section after few months of being subscribed.

Wow -- Are there specific exercises for exertional dystonia of the foot --- toe curling?

Kia17 profile image
Kia17 in reply torebtar

There are complete sets of programmes for different parts of body.More than anyone can imagine.

For instance for toes dystonia you will need to do the exercises from hip to toes and other exercises like eye tracking and sensory stimulation.

When you start doing exercises you will see how your weaknesses come to surface.

Those exercises will make you conscious of your body.

Hi Kia! Do you feel your dystonia is gone due solely to this program or any vitamins too? Thank you!

Good question!

Hi Connie

I give 80% credit to the programme. 20% to Folinic Acid and Vitamin E.

Hi, Kia -Would you mind providing an update on how this method of dealing with your exertional dystonia is working after about a year of doing that program?

Kia17 profile image

Hi, It works very well and I have no exertional dystonia anymore. If someone can really commit him/herself in doing the platform’s exercises then I would recommend with no hesitation.
