Treating Parkinson's Naturally: Western and TCM Perspectives (Pt. 1)

The traditional approach focuses on drugs that help slow down the progression of PD and reduce motor issues and tremors. Although these drugs do help, they often can have serious side effects as well, including making the symptoms worsen over time.

Ideally, using natural approaches for managing PD while minimizing the dosages of drugs needed could prove much more beneficial to the patient, particularly regarding trying to determine and addressing the underlying causes of PD, some of which are mentioned above.

I don't know of any either.

But there are a few other natural things he has skipped like MCT oil ( a Coconut oil derivative ) and Avocado, and there is Organic WHOLE milk, Not Homogenized too.

YET he did not mention the issue of Pesticides and Herbicides vs Organically grown fruits and vegetables.

I also was looking for some TCM insights as to what he has been able to demonstrate that work.

My acupuncturist has been able to stop my spontaneous 'jumping ' right leg by inserting needles on the left side of my skull above the ear while looking at the ceiling..

It has happened twice so far, after being face down, starting as a slight twitch and building .

I actually know of nothing that slows progression - even acupuncture.

I had brain fog, bad/thick fog lasting days at times making it near impossible to think about simple things like make a shopping list ... and through a bit of testing I discovered what was the main cause, for me it was HOMOGENIZED milk, did not which type, "factory processed Milk " even Organic, if it is labeled HOMO .... it is now Verboten in our house. After several weeks of no fog I tested HOMO milk , and it did not take long before the fog stared to show itself. Then our supplier of Organic milks did not get his order filled, so wife took Homogenized Organic and I got the same 'fog ' result. Even coffee creamers cause a little bit of short duration of fog.

I am now reading up on Mannitol to see if some of the Tau bundles can be reduced in volume... that I think might be true reversal of a symptom..
